About the Artist: Attaboy
Attaboy works in several mediums, sometimes all at once. Lately he's been making phenomenal intricate one off stencils on plastic and has been suffering from a strange lingering vertigo. Attaboy is a graduate of the FIT Toy Design Program, has designed 100's of toys and has his real name on half a dozen patents. He is a former child model, until a fierce acne outbreak. He's done performances in rock quarries, junkyards, rock clubs, fringe fests and the BArt public transportation system. An animation he created was on cable TV. He's a co-founder and publisher of the critically acclaimed and best selling Hi-Fructose New Contemporary Art magazine with his fiance Annie Owens. Their second Collected Edition is due out in September. His first kids book arrives in 2011 and is currently being adapted for the stage.
